Connecting students through its bi-weekly publication, The Catalyst aims to provide campus with information about the service and activism efforts of students, staff, and faculty as well as invite other students to make a difference in their communities.

Following monthly themes such as homelessness, hunger, heath-care issues, and diversity, The Catalyst also delves into the issues surrounding these efforts in order to make our campus and community more informed and therefore more powerful.

In addition to articles submitted by students, Volunteer Center interns, and members of the Civic Engagement Board, The Catalyst also contains a calendar of civic engagement and social action opportunities events in order to meet its goal: collectively creating change.
