Vandal Fitness Challenge
Welcome U of I students to the 3rd Annual Vandal Fitness Challenge. We are extremely excited about your interest and pleased to be helping the student body make positive changes toward a healthier lifestyle.
This years fitness challenge will have two different divisions and lots of great prizes. Men and women will be in separate categories and this years challenge will run 10 weeks. More information is available
in the links below. Make a change toward a healthier lifestyle, register today.

Registration
Welcome to the Vandal Fitness Challenge Registration. This years competition consists of two divisions, "Average Joe" and "All around athlete." The "Average Joe" division will be separated
into Men's and Women's categories. Scoring will be a combination of body fat percentage loss, fitness testing, and food and activity logs. The "All Around Athlete" competition will also be seperated into men's and women's categories
but scoring will be a different combination of body fat percentage loss, fitness testing, and food and activity logs.
Upon body fat measurement and fitness testing a recommendation will be made upon which category to enter but you are free to choose either All-Around Athlete or Average Joe divisions. There is a $10 registration fee that
will be deducted from your student account upon registration. You will also sign up for a testing time. You will receive a water bottle upon testing completion and a t-shirt upon the 10 week completion. Click the link below to register now.

Food Diary and Activity logs must be turned no later than one week after each week and a minimum of 6 weeks worth of submissions is required to complete the fitness challenge.
Food Diary and Activity Log
Please download and turn in your food diary and activity logs weekly via email
(schmoe@sub.uidaho.edu) with the subject
title “logs” or hard copies at the drop boxes located in the ASUI office and at the SRC.
You have the option of using my template or creating your own journals as long as you follow
the basic requirements. A minimum of six of each log must be turned in to be considered
completed with the challenge and eligible for prizes. Also, An information packet will be
emailed to you shortly about the challenge. Prize updates will appear on the website when they become available.

Testing
Testing will be available at the following times. All testing is done at the student recreation center. Any of the following times that do not appear on the registration form have been filled
and we can no longer accept any more entries for that time. Please bring your student IDs and dress appropriately for physical activity. The tests will include a body fat percentage test,
a standard push-up test, a standard sit-up test, and plyometric box jump.

Prizes
First Prize: $350 toward a recreation activity of choice (e.g. snowboarding equipment, camping equipment, rock climbing gear, etc.)
Second Prize: $200 Gift certificate to Big 5 sports in Moscow
Third Prize: iPod Shuffle
Drawing prizes:
Sports watch, croquet set, volleyball, football, basketball, soccer ball, sweat bands, flag football set, yoga mat, exercise ball, athletic bag, outdoor volleyball set, home gym equipment, athletic shoe bags, massage sessions, personal training sessions, and more to be named later.
