ASUI Presidential Addresses

The ASUI President is the official spokesperson of the ASUI. She/he is responsible for all administrative and executive functions of the ASUI as established by the constitution, rules and regulations, and bylaws of the student government. She/he reports to the Senate on his or her activities weekly and has veto power over any legislation the Senate passes. She/he appoints all members including chairs to the various boards and committees. She/he meets regularly with the State Board of Education, State Legislature, Vandal Boosters, Alumni Association, and UI Foundation.
