About the Committee:
The Civic Engagement Board is one of the University of Idaho's major programs designed to engage students in an effort to strengthen our community, as well as encourage other students to become aware of and involved in social issues. We aim to connect students from various organizations in order to share resources and ideas so that students can more effectively meet the needs within the community and work together toward solving significant social problems.

In addition to holding bimonthly meetings and regularly publishing a newsletter, the Committee aims to foster an ethic of civic engagement among students by coordinating the Semester of Service challenge and civic engagement roundtable discussions.
